In this we begin

The hall was full of chatter, exploits of revenge and conquest echoed loudly among the members of The-Heroes. Defenses had been harsh lately, the war among rival guilds had been rampant, as many guilds were facing destruction by anothers hands. The offers to run dangerous dungeons and locate massive monsters went unheard by Leyline, she was too involved in the caretaking of her wife Arweena. Oh I could go, I need to see this demon for myself, but they reject my wife, they feel her powers are yet too undeveloped, that she is not quite a formidable ally yet- thought Leyline after many requests for aid had come to her. She listened and declined offer after offer, opting to spend the days and nights in the hall of the Guild House that her and Arweena had furnished. Their trials had been many and their love still grows, but the futility of acceptance was found in more ways than one.

It felt as though at every turn Arweena was being put down for her unknown abilities, untried powers. -Beloved, we will find a way to make them all see, to see that their ideas of you are not true, that you too hold the power to aid them-, Leyline began before being cut short with a simple kiss on her lips. -No my dear, it is time for us to move on, find and make our own path, allows those that have heart come before those that have brawn; for those with heart shall overcome anything before them, as those with brawn falter at the final steps from weariness- Arweena had begun, her voice soft and trembling at the idea of walking out of this Guild House for the final time after some members had become close and loving of her abilities.

Leyline grabbed Arweena's hands in her own, brought them to her lips and gently kissed them before whisking the two of them away. Secreted away in a dark corner of their chest was a dulling stone, ragged and ancient looking, hard and soft to the touch. It was the same stone that all the other Guilds had treasured, it was their source of power. -My darling beloved wife, shall I use this stone and find power for it? Shall I create our own guild, one with our ideals, our goals?- Leyline asked Arweena. Their eyes locked in each other, not a word had passed in what seemed like an eternity, even the smith shop workers seemed to be clanking away more loudly in their silent moment. With a loving kiss Arweena answered Leyline, small tears were welling in the eyes of each lover, their hearts and mind being one in a single thought; to find acceptance, not only for themselves, but for everyone whom came knocking on their door.
